ianacare is a comprehensive platform designed specifically for family caregivers, providing them with a centralized hub to organize and mobilize all levels of support. The platform allows caregivers to coordinate help from friends, family, and coworkers, utilize employer benefits, discover local resources, and receive personalized guidance from our Caregiver Navigators. Our primary goal is to empower and equip family caregivers, fostering a sense of community so that no caregiver has to face their challenges alone.


The initial layer of support offered by ianacare involves rallying personal social circles, including friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors, to assist with practical needs such as meals, rides, respite care, child care, pet care, and errands. Through a private feed, caregivers can keep everyone updated on their journey while receiving emotional support from their community.


Whether one is caring for a loved one with a long-term illness/disability, during short-term surgery, or during a life transition such as having a baby or grieving, ianacare is designed to create and coordinate a support system composed of individuals who are eager to provide assistance. Our aim is to eliminate the burden of organization typically associated with caregiving by streamlining the process through our platform.


By joining the ianacare team, caregivers can eliminate the confusion caused by spreadsheets, sign-up emails, and intrusive group texts that revolve around logistics. Even the smallest acts of support can make a tremendous difference in a caregiver's life.

<li>Stay organized with a team calendar: All requested tasks are displayed on your team calendar, ensuring that you stay organized while gaining clarity on when and where additional support may be required.</li>
<li>Control notification preferences: As either a caregiver or a supporter on the team, you have complete control over what requests, notifications, and updates you receive and how you receive them (via email, SMS, or push notifications).</li>
<li>Start or join a team for a caregiver: Even if you are not the primary caregiver, you still have the option to start a team and invite the caregiver to join. Alternatively, you can join a team to which you have been invited.</li>
